The Path Toward The Light

A commissioned triptych on permanent display at Eltham Green Community Church

"This series of artwork is based on the famous poem "Footprints in the sand". Gold is used to represent God, for the first painting, we can see the expanse of God. The black circles represent single people on their journey with God. The middle painting represents that journey, as in the footprints poem at the most difficult part in our lives we can look back and wonder where God is, but it is at that time God is carrying us. The red circles represent groups of people, a body of people brought together by God. The last painting represents the peace and connection we find with God"
